We usually see a 'few' Bullfinches a year. Here this male chooses
the hedge outside the Living room window for a brief perch.

First time we have a decent image of a bullfinch, even if taken
through a window. This is a male - there were two males stripping
the flowerheads.

We saw two females and a single male Bullfinch in the same bush, all making the
most of the dried out berries. The females were at opposite sides of the bramble
bush, so this can show just one of them with the male.

You can't see the yellow crest in this image, but this is a Goldcrest moving
through an ash tree looking for insects to eat.

Although taken about 3 hours earlier, we didn't see automatic
cameras image until the next day, meanwhile having spotted the
little beauty hunting in the oak tree 10m from the tree trunk
top. This is a 'wren size' bird and moves just as quickly!
