We often see carrion crows with bits of peel and the like, but
here it shows a preference for an apple core about an hour after
it was put out.

Peanuts are obviously a hit with Crows. Pity they don't leave many for
other visitors.

These two carrion crows are presumably the youngsters we watched
in the nest for weeks. Much too fine plumage condition to be the
adults, and the tails are short. Rarely saw the adults together
away from the nest anyway, and these spent several minutes
feeding.

Not much by way of thermals this time of year means the buzzards
tend to be lower where we can get better photos of the corvids
making their displeasure felt. This is one of a pair of carrion
crows mobbing a passing buzzard. Un-fudged (cropped only) single
frame.

A pair of Carrion Crows sitting quietly together on the 11KV wires didn't like
our arrival, and we expected them to fly off together. But only one of them decided
to fly off. Read this as pairs of bird from the bottom upwards.

A pair of Carrion Crows often share the top of this conifer, though they
vary their perches. Here the Right-hand bird opening it's wings and
the strong southerly wind (from the right here) did the rest!

Red Kites here don't seem to be any more welcomed by Corvids than the Buzzards.
We saw this one flying in from the distance and vanished into some trees near the horizon.
A minute or two later it emerged from the trees carrying what looks like twig and being
hotly pursued by a pair of Carrion Crows for several hundred metres in our general
direction. Here is about half a second of action.

It soon wandered off and a pair of carrion crows really took
exception to its presence and harassed it until we lost sight of
the group in the haze.

This Red Kite being pursued by a carrion crow - the crow is just about able to keep up.
On another occasion we observed that Jackdaws can't keep up with Red Kites even
if the kite is not trying to get away.
