This Badger seems to be climbing the tree near the South hedge, but thinks better of it and crosses the dry ditch into our patch.
Looking through our 30 years of rainfall records for Februaries we see 5.8cm this year, the lowest since 5.4cm in 1993. The average is about 40cm, peaking at 66.8 in 2001 - a quite different expectation.

On the next night we see the badger clambering as high as they can up the tree trunk.

Round Pond has self-filled sufficiently to be back as a 'watering hole'.

An hour after dark this Badger stomps in through the South hedge gap, stops for a moment before setting off east.

The now fairly dry ditch is now no longer an obstacle for the badger who trundles quietly through the night.

This Badger triggers the camera as they walk across the ditch and then through the hole in the hedge into the farm beyond. These over perhaps 3 seconds.

An hour later a Badger (not enough info to ID as 'the same') passes the Woodland feeding site at speed.

All over the site we find these Badger scrapes where they have been looking for worms and other invertebrates.

These 4 pics rather simplify an interaction between Fox and Badger, and the Badger is obviously the winner of the pecking (or should it be biting) order.
Top Left: The Fox spent a few minutes at a scrape on the Round Mound before suddenly reacting to the arrival of a Badger coming up the mound.
Top Right: The Fox makes a hurried departure - thats the blur upper middle!
Bottom Left: The Fox watches from a distance as the Badger scrapes at the same place.
Bottom Right: 20 minutes later the Badger has gone and the Fox returns, but is already reacting to something down the slope.
The target of their scrapes is a new Rabbit hole in this patch of the mound.

2 minutes later the Badger has reached Duck 'Pond' for a drink. The face is reflected in the water.

This Badger sips water from the Duck Pond dish, the water catching the glow of the eyes.

4 hours later at 2 minutes to midnight, this badger sips a little water before trundling on his way

At nearly 3.30 a.m. this Badger turns up to examine the still substantial roadkill Hare remains.
The Badger may have blocked the beam while feeding on it, or just wandered away - we don't know which.

20 minutes later this Badger drags away the roadkill Hare remains. To us this looks like a different individual to the earlier visit.
Next morning, the site now empty, we looked for indications of where the carcass was dragged, but found no signs.
