The more anthropomorphic of us will consider this 'kissing', but actually they are rubbing noses very sweetly.

Maybe it's human sentiment, but we can't see these two little creatures as anything but an affectionate couple.

In the dark, two fieldmice (wood mice) mingle their whiskers in the hollow gouged under the end of the stone by numerous denizens looking for food.

The chilly weather doesn't seem to reduce the fieldmouse (wood mouse) ardour. Its 3:26 a.m. as well!

These fieldmice (wood mice) are not actually marooned Robinson Crusoe style as it looks - they can jump into their hole from the log.

The number of Fieldmice (Wood Mice) at all the sites is increasing. We expect the Owls (plus foxes and the local cat) will soon reduce the numbers :-(

These two shots (each pair a genuine single frame) taken as successive frames about 3 minutes apart really caught our fancy.

As the rains continue we have here 4 fieldmice (wood mice) (one is behind the mouse at the top) retreat to the only dry bits.

'Three (not) Blind Mice, ...' - actually a rather Macabre nursery rhyme.
This is the first time we have seen 3 mice together at this site, and its unusual to ever get such a neat lineup (un-fudged single frame).
