The more anthropomorphic of us will consider this 'kissing',

These fieldmice (wood mice) are not actually marooned Robinson Crusoe style as it
looks - they can jump into their hole from the log.

The number of Fieldmice (Wood Mice) at all the sites is increasing. We expect the Owls (plus
foxes and the local cat) will soon reduce the numbers :-(

As the rains continue we have here 4 fieldmice (wood mice) (one is
behind the mouse at the top) retreat to the only dry bits.

'Three (not) Blind Mice, ...' - actually a rather Macabre nursery rhyme.
This is the first time we have seen 3 mice together at this site,
and its unusual to ever get such a neat lineup (un-fudged single frame).
