Hello Reynard, staring intently at the ground.
The rump looks like it is starting to develop the 'greying' symptoms of Mange.

We unfortunately see quite a few foxes with bad Mange, so it is a pleasure to see this healthy beast visiting the hedge site. The mixture of peanut butter and mouse perfume on the stone must be irresistible!

A Fox looking for Supper ...
The preferred entrance is from the path on the other side of this hedge, and the way though has been trodden flat.

A fox on the hunt at the bottom of hedge site. We have views of a similar (possibly the same) Fox at both of the other ground level sites on the same night.

This is an older animal than 'Scarface', and has more scars and a nick out of the right ear. This is the only pic of it - maybe the flash puts it off. The eyes are not as glossy, and it fits the 'cunning old fox' saying.

A fox visiting the woodland site and obviously creeping up on some unsuspecting creature (until the flash fired!).

A young fox still exploring its world has already found that this is a good place for a nighttime nibble. This image just before dark shows his eyes not quite fully dilated.
