A young Fox has suddenly appeared and on the first night of
appearance visited all of the cameras. The next night the visit
was to two cameras about 15m apart were he took his pic about 10
times. This is one of them.

After a long break a fox put in an appearance at one of the good
quality cameras, but the head was partly out of frame at the
left, hence this 'creative' interpretation of the
nose-to-ground investigation of the world in a way
humans can't even imagine.

Very few visits from foxes at the moment, but they all seem
to include a hungry look.

Eyes focussed and ears pricked, this fox is probably
hunting worms which we often see crawling over the site.

At least two different foxes are now regularly visiting the
camera sites. This is a young fox with wonderful pristine fur.

A fox photographed itself 3 times in an hour. In this last image
it has come back into the plot through a hole in the fence. The
many shiny black items are slugs on which it may well be feasting.

This fox visited one site twice in an evening & looks in good
condition. Neither images gives a clue as to sex but it is in
much better condition than a mangy creature we have glimpsed a
few times.

A little Fox vs Badger moment.
The Fox goes for drink in the pond, and as the fox pulls away from the water
there is a Badger approaching directly at the Fox, causing him to crouch
down and lay ears flat. It seems that is the Fox makes a speedy exit rather than
the Badger. We had never thought before about a 'pecking order' between
these two visitors.

flashes of brilliant orange. The insects like them too.
