At about the same time the next day probably the same Deer appears to be standing in the flooded ditch enjoying a drink of the quite disgustingly muddy water.

The regular male Reeves' Muntjac Deer eats some Blackberry leaves, somehow avoiding, or resistant to, the thorns.

A couple of minutes later the male Reeves' Muntjac Deer is eating twigs on a hawthorn bush.

Another apple vanishes - this time in a Male Reeve's Muntjac Deer.
It looks like as a single mouthful that he subsequently chewed on for a couple of minutes.

At around the same time next day this male Reeve's Muntjac Deer has spotted this litter of leafy twigs and stops off to eat some.

This male Reeves' Muntjac Deer comes into the site and starts with a forage in the ditch.

We see this male Reeves' Muntjac Deer most nights at one or more Trail cameras. Here, unusually in mid-afternoon, he enters at the south hedge gap and soon starts rubbing his most likely itchy 'velvet' over his antlers on the ground.

4 hours later, the sun has risen as this male Reeves' Muntjac Deer, with fully emerged antlers, stops by for a feed. There seems to be a scar at the top of his left front leg.

Right outside the study window this male Reeves' Muntjac Deer samples the weeds in a huge pot left unkempt in the Winter.

The male Reeve's Muntjac Deer follows the Deer equivalent of Chanel No 5? The male Deer must catch the moment that the female is receptive to mating.

Next day the male continues to assiduously follow the female.

A few minutes before sunset - if the sun had been visible anyway - this male Reeve's Muntjac Deer was wandering quietly down the hedge to our east foraging as he went. Standing still behind our hedge he didn't spot the photographer.

A mid-morning sighting of a male Reeves' Muntjac Deer quietly foraging along the Bridleway to our north. He must have been pretty intent on feeding not to notice us stopping for these pics and then passing some 50m away.

This male Reeves' Muntjac deer spent 5 minutes foraging at the end of the orchard. To left his is pushing his way into a Bramble (Blackberry) bush to reach some attractive morsel.
