A young Grey Squirrel looking so twee in the flowers that it almost hurts to know it may become a vicious little tree-Rat.

A couple of young Grey Squirrels share the evening largess.

Two juvenile Squirrels spent 5 minutes 'playing' on the bird table outside the Kitchen Window. It would appear that this 'play' has a substantial sexual element, but they were definitely not actually mating. In the last frame the one on top is here falling off and landing 1.5 metres below without apparent injury.

The Grey Squirrel scurries by, sending the ground debris flying, watched by the male Pheasant in high dudgeon. All that Testosterone boiling over turns a run-for-it creature into a stalwart of determination

Probably the same Squirrel the next evening at a ground level site some 10 metres from the tree stump.

Not so elegantly seeing off a Jackdaw, this squirrel is caught in an wonderfully aggressive Kung-Fu posture. We would love to have seen this from the other side!

We put out frozen cherries from our stock for both human and animal consumption. This one seems to have pleased this Grey Squirrel.

What the Grey squirrels don't want to eat now, they take away and hide.

Grey Squirrels don't hibernate!
But we don't have much idea what these 2 are up to.

2 minutes later the issue seems resolved - only this Squirrel remains.

Jack in the box?
The Grey squirrel jumps up the tree-stump to see if there is anything left to eat.

Same time next day, not such a amicable interaction.
Here the female Pheasant is facing us with her head out of frame to the right as the Grey Squirrel is jumping onto her back at the root of her tail.

Scale it up, and this Grey squirrel looks like something out of a horror movie.

The Grey squirrel taking away one of his Five-Seven-a day as Sultanas - nobody tell us we don't feed our wildlife well!
The recommended 'Five-a-Day' fruit and Veg has moved to Seven-a-day. We are Vegans - we only count the calories - its all 'fruit & veg'!

The 2020 Olympics (in 2021) were in progress when we obtained these two images, so here we could not resist concocting this accurately positioned montage of a Grey Squirrel doing a 'vault' over the stone.
The only snag is that the two pics are 20 minutes apart with other images (with no squirrel in them) in between!

Grey Squirrels can be really NASTY to other Squirrels.

Grey Squirrel vs. Male pheasant.
Grey squirrel teeth and claws will see off most other creatures, but to our surprise the pheasant 'wins' most of these encounters - at least the next image shows the pheasant still at the site with the squirrel gone or just feeding. The same thing happened the following morning.
