Grey Squirrels synchronised feeding?

Next day, to within a few minutes, what we think is the same pair of Grey Squirrels are quietly feeding together.

Grey Squirrels can be really nasty.
We have looked at this several times now, and cringe every time :-(

Ouch!
Grey Squirrels are sometime vicious little creatures - we wouldn't want those claws on our face.

Ouch!
Fighting male Grey squirrels apparently try to bite each other's genitals :-(

This looks like another serious encounter with the Squirrels face to face and claws flying as they roll over the log.

The flying debris suggests that these Grey squirrels are having a rough-house or a love-in!

Ouch - Ouch - Ouch.
By tactic or accident the right hand squirrel is on it's back making good use of the claws for defence. This is no love-in but a serious punch-up scratch-up.
We don't really know which Squirrel is winning - the upright one is more stable but the one on its back has 4 sets of claws plus teeth it can use :-(

Outside the kitchen window these two Grey Squirrels spent several minutes fondling each other part way up the post, and then climbed to the top on each side of the post to continue to fondle and then mate.

A couple of Grey squirrels doing some 'serious' frolicking. 2 images over 3 minutes.

These images over a couple of days illustrate either just how determined Grey squirrels are to keep groomed, or just how flea ridden they are. Or perhaps both!
