Robin practicing looking immaculate. Once the nesting starts this won't be seen again until the moult. This Spring everything is much later than we have become used to in recent years.

Although probably a line-of-site effect, this juxtaposition of Fieldmouse (Wood Mouse) and Robin has a certain drama.

Goodness me, a tree sparrow and Robin so close they could easily touch. Are they discussing who dropped the feather in front of them?

Happy event! The robins at this site that we see everyday in photos, and often lurk in the nearby trees when we visit this site, have obviously fledged their youngsters. This is a montage of two consecutive images that may or may not be the same fledgling.

It seems a long time since seeing a sharp photo of an in-flight skirmish. Here a Robin (left) and Great Tit think it worth a little conflict to take control of the food on offer.

4 different small bird species (and a white feather) make a pleasing composition without any changes from the original frame.
This sort of layout is usually the result of photoshopping in bird seed adverts!

Young robins don't have red chests. Note the yellow edge to the beak it still uses for begging food from its parents.
