A couple of Fieldmice (Wood Mice) in the hours before dawn, practising spectacular leaps. Such ability might be very useful in escaping from the local Cat.

From 4 frames of Fieldmice (Wood Mice) over one night we build this little fun montage.

A somewhat arbitrary collection of Fieldmouse (Wood Mouse) images taken over two nights.
A culinary delight for the Owls?

About the same time next night, we think two different mice

We often see fieldmice (wood mice) so close their whiskers must be touching. What a different world of sensations they inhabit.

The leaping mouse is unusually sharp, and we think the detail is worth a closer look.

Fieldmice (Wood Mice) can be delightfully affectionate to one another. It all seems very quick to us, but they live at a different pace.
"Are you Awake?"

One mouse is eating an (unripe?) berry we haven't identified - it was NOT put out as 'bait'.

We have no idea what startled these two fieldmice (wood mice).

The fieldmice (wood mice) continue to show their amazing athleticism.

Probably a male Fieldmouse (Wood Mouse) in the air, showing off to his prospective female. Another mouse a little further away (middle right) seems oblivious to the whole affair.

Another rain storm floods our little site. The fieldmouse (wood mouse) in the air has a paw between us and the nearest mouse,so we wish we had another photo 1 second later as it landed in the puddle!

The Fieldmouse (Wood Mouse) at both sites (100m apart so must be separate nests) continue to amaze us.
