Such ability might be very useful in escaping from the local Cat.

We often see fieldmice (wood mice) so close their whiskers must be touching.

Probably a male Fieldmouse (Wood Mouse) in the air, showing off to his prospective
female. Another mouse a little further away (middle right) seems oblivious
to the whole affair.

Another rain storm floods our little site. The fieldmouse (wood mouse) in the
air has a paw between us and the nearest mouse,so we wish we had
another photo 1 second later as it landed in the puddle!
